Sorry to keep all runners safe, dogs are not allowed on the 6K or 10K run courses.
The WALK/WHEEL/WAG event welcomes dogs and their owners! Costumes encouraged!!
The WALK/WHEEL/WAG is a new event this year. It is a fun, all-inclusive event, open to participants of all ages and abilities. Whether you want to walk, small kids ride a bike, push a stroller, wheel a wheelchair, walk your dog....whatever!! Participants do two laps around Lions Field and entry is by donation at the registration desk on race day. The WALK/WHEEL/WAG starts immediately after the 6K & 10K start at Lions Field at 9:05am. COSTUMES STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!!
The 6K & 10K trail runs are open to all ages, but children under the ages of 14 need to be accompanied by an adult.
We are strongly encouraging friends and family to cheer you on from the start/finish area at Lions Field. We are trying to keep vehicles off Bluff Road to keep the run course safe for runners. If friends and family feel they really need to see you out on the 10K course, they can park at the top of Winstanley Rd and cheer from aid station #2 (See 10K map course).
The kids run is geared for kids aged 3-10 years old. Participation is FREE, but kids must register at either one of the race package pick up days/times: Saturday, September 26th (Saturday Market - 10am-2pm) Sunday, September 27th (race morning - 7:30am-8:30am)
Thank you for considering coming out to help! Kirsten Evanish would love to answer any questions you may have about volunteering. Please reach out to her via email at kirstenevanish71@gmail.com with questions. We need over 30 volunteers to make race day run smoothly. Any role you are willing to help out with (large and small) would mean a lot to our community!!
If the race hasn't filled up, you can still register for the 6K & 10K races on Saturday, September 26th at the Saturday Market from 10-2pm. There will be no race morning registration this year.
